Snowcode is a free open coding conference. Attendees pay the chalet owners direct for the conference and for airport transfers. No money is paid by attendees to snowcode. Please consider supporting Snowcode as an event sponsors so that we can continue to grow and provide a event that inspires incredible discussions and and learning. Last year’s Snowcode attendees spent more than 20 hours hands on coding across more than 20 technologies and practices… and still managed to pack in 6 full days intense skiing and snowboarding! Any money received from sponsors will go immediately back into the snowcode events.
We currently need sponsors to help with the following :
1) GoPro HD helmet cams for us to record outdoor as well as indoor sessions. (sponsored by Icodeon Ltd)2) We would *LOVE* a sponsor who could loan us 3 x slate or tablet devices running either windows or Andriod 2 use for some hack sessions.
3) Is there any company who can loan us 3 GPS tracking devices with 5m resolution or better? Must have API to read tracking data.
4) Any company that could help with some software swag, licences etc that we can give away will be most appreciated.
5) Cash towards sponsoring one of the community developerss to be able to attend. (Sponsored by Alan Hemmings, and The Agile Workshop)
6) Lastly, I need a sponsor to help me purchase some open source electronic "starter" kitts e.g. like the Netduino boards, for us to have available for us to build some mashups/hacks with. Approx £ 400.
Please contact Alan for more information about sponsorship and sponsorship benefits.

The Agile Workshop
At The Agile Workshop, we pride ourselves on delivering high quality useable software but we also pride ourselves on solving problems. We use agile approaches and techniques.
We believe that the best software is produced by integrating right from the outset and demonstrating and delivering working software regularly. This is even more important where the software involves a high degree of user experience design.
At The Agile Workshop we encourage the team to share our passion and vision and to take it into the wider community by getting involved with user groups (both participating in and presenting to) so that everyone involved with software development gains.

Alan Hemmings snowcode founder, and sponsor
I started Snowcode to combine three of the biggest passions in my life (snowboarding, coding and networking) and to save money. If you count the per day cost of technical conferences, for example TechEd, then a ski-holiday conference at £500 + £400 expenses works out 3 times cheaper, with unmeasurably deeper learning accompanied with heaps of adrenalin kicks.
I continue to run and sponsor Snowcode each year because it's an excellent investment which more than pays for itself. Last year by the second snowcode evening, I hit that "what you've just shared with me has paid for my week" moment.
About me (Alan) I'm a KANBan evangelist, .NET BDD Agile/Scrum practitioner and freelance consultant with over 15 years development experience. I'm available for hire as a part time outsourced CTO, scrummaster, Coach or C# contractor. I'm currently working part time with a client on a long term contract and have spare capacity to take on 1 more client working 1 to 2 days a week.
I am looking to invest time and/or cash and connections into suitably exciting startup tech ventures
I also enjoy sales, marketing, Piña coladas and long walks in the rain ;-p
